City’s leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

An incense offering ceremony celebrating the 127th birthday of the late President Ho Chi Minh (May 19) was held at Ho Chi Minh Museum in Ho Chi Minh City on May 18.

Attending in the event were President Tran Dai Quang, former Secretary of HCMC Party Committee Le Thanh Hai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee Tat Thanh Cang.

The events also marked 106 years since Uncle Ho left Vietnam to seek national salvation (May 6).

Leaders and delegates took a look at pictures and objects in the museum, honoring the life and contributions of Uncle Ho to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, and presenting significant achievements of Ho Chi Minh city in the process of studying and following Uncle teachings.

On the same day, the delegation also offered flowers to President Ho Chi Minh at his statue at Ho Chi Minh Statue Park  in front of the City Hall.
