Head of the Department of Propaganda and Training of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Than Thi Thu thanked the Russian leaders for warm welcome, and highlighted target of the visit and the work schedule of the delegation for the upcoming 100-year anniversary of the Russian October Revolution.
The visit aims to strengthen further the cooperation relations between the two nations.
Amid the friendly atmosphere as at home, Vietnamese ambassador to Russia Federation Nguyen Thanh Son reviewed Vietnam- Russia relationships in the recent years.
The ambassador said that the cooperation ties between the two countries have well developed; and the partner has paid many preferences and been ready for welcoming Vietnamese enterprises.
Mr. Son also desired that the city’s press agencies would introduce potentialities and preferential policies of Russia to Vietnamese and HCMC enterprises; the delegation would report with the city leaders about establishment of Industrial Park of Russia Government, and investment promotion into Russia’s tourism industry after the tournament.
On the same day, the delegation worked with news agency of Russia Today and Truth Newspaper of Communist Youth Union.
