The People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City instructed district-level authorities on Thursday to regularly maintain checks on parking lots and their modus operandi in charging fees from customers.
District authorities should order managers of parking lots to publicly display their fees and the hotline numbers to be contacted in districts and wards, in case of complaints.
Exorbitant fees for parking should not be allowed and in such cases the district-level authorities will be held responsible.
Any administrative organ will not be permitted to collect parking fees.
