Duc Khai Corporation presents resettlement area’s form residential zone

Duc Khai Corporation September 18 presented a model residential area at Phu My Resettlement Area, Phu My Ward, District 7, with investment capital of VND12 billion (US$600,000).

Attending the ceremony, Deputy Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tai hailed the corporation’s efforts to build social infrastructure projects such as schools and parks.

Phu My Resettlement Area project started the construction since January, 2010 with a total capital of VND4,000 billion ($200 million).

The project is expected to complete in second quarter of 2012.

Once completed, the project will supply nearly 3,000 apartments with area from 53 to 319 square meters for 11,072 people.

According to chairman of the corporation Pham Ngoc Lam, the project is a model area because it meets international standards with parks, entertainment areas and modern apartments

On the occasion, the corporation also donated VND1,5 billion ($75,000) to a scholarship program, which is held by Tuoi Tre newspaper and VND300 million ($15,000) to poor and studious children in  District 7.
