The Labor Union of Industrial Park and Export Processing Zones in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday opened a labor culture house in the High-Tech Zone in HCMC’s District 9.
The culture house is the first which was opened in industrial and export processing parks in order to satisfy workers’ culture needs in the High –Tech and in Linh Trung 1 and 2 Export Processing Zones.
The culture house is located in the area of 11,736 square meters in the main path of the High-Tech with two floors, main hall and canteen, stadium, park, and a supermarket. It costs VND72.5 billion (US$3,247,480) taken from the labor union.
On the same day, in the High-tech Zone, the Labor Union of Industrial Park and Export Processing Zone held a festival “Safe meals for laborers” which attracted thousands of workers in industrial parks and export processing zones.
