France-Vietnam job festival provides hundreds of job opportunities in HCMC

The 6th France-Vietnam job festival was opened in HCMC yesterday by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV) and France Alumni Vietnam.

According to a CCIFV representative, 30 French businesses in Vietnam operating in fields such as auditing, technique, information technology, food and restaurant-hotel attended the event announcing 321 recruiting jobs with the registration of over 300 applicants.

Beside recruitment, this year event comprised five seminars to help applicants learn about businesses and their fields of operation as well as experience to apply for jobs and develop career.

The France-Vietnam job festival was first held in Hanoi in 2014 and afterwards organized in both Hanoi and HCMC since 2016, aiming to create opportunities for Vietnamese and French enterprises to meet and recruit high-quality human resources. That is also a chance for Vietnamese young people to access employment opportunities and improve their awareness of the tendency of the labor market.

Last year, over 700 applicants and 47 companies participated in the event.
