Vietnam-China relations have developed strongly in various fields in recent years.

Ho Chi Minh City export turnover to China reached more than US$2.6 billion in 2013.

Vice Secretary Ha expressed appreciation of Shanghai’s development as largest seaports and trade-finance centers. The city has also successfully built Party and social cells in private enterprises.

The visit also aims to gain experience about building Party, social organizations and trade unions in foreign-invested and private businesses, said Vice Secretary Ha.

Vice Secretary Li Xi highly valued Ho Chi Minh City as the most developed city in Vietnam. He appreciated relations between the two cities. He hoped that the two cities will continue increasing exchanges and sharing experience in Party-building and socio-economic development.

On the same day the Ho Chi Minh City delegation visited Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park in the 25 square-kilometer Pudong New Area and the Aowei Shanghai Technology Development Co. Ltd.
