HCMC approves $1.35 bln downtown complex

The People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has approved a project to build the Saigon-Ba Son complex at 2 Ton Duc Thang, Ben Nghe ward, district 1 with the total funds of VND30 trillion (US$1.35 billion).

The project includes trade and service centers, office buildings, officetel, apartments, villas, nursery, primary and secondary schools, health clinic and other technical infrastructures.
 
Notably, 60 storey office buildings will be built along Ton Duc Thang street which are expected to open for service by 2018.
 
The project’s investor is HCMC Investment Service Trading Joint Stock Company.
