HCMC approves to build Long Kieng bridge in Nha Be district

The Urban Traffic Management Zone No.4 under the HCMC department of transport started yesterday August 9 construction of Long Kieng Bridge locating in Nha Be district’s Long Kieng & Nhon Duc communes in HCMC.

The bridge is 318m long, 15m wide with total investment capital of VND 560billion. Of these, the construction will cost VND 255billion, the remaining will be for compensation and re-settlement works and others.

It is expected that the bridge will be put into operation after 18 months of construction.

The old bridge was downgraded seriously therefore the HCMC People’s Committee approved to build new bridge to ensure the safety of local people.
