HCMC builds, repairs houses for families in serving nation’s revolution

The People’s Committee in Ho Chi Minh City last weekend decided to spend VND56.51 billion (US$251.3 million) building and repairing houses for families in serving the cause of the nation’s revolution in the city as per the government’s decision No.22/2013.

Of the amount of VND56.51 billion (US$251.3 million), VND23.744 billion is taken from  the government’s budget and VND32.766 billion is from the city’s budget. The sum will be used to build and repair houses for 1,283 above-mentioned families. 201 families will be supported VND12.19 billion to build new houses and 1,082 dilapidated houses of families will be repaired which cost VND44.31 billion.

The city Department of Construction said that the department will submit a document proposing to build more 226 houses worth VND10.41 billion for these families in serving the cause of the country’s revolution.
