HCMC & Phnom Penh strengthen mutual cooperation

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong yesterday held a talk with a high- ranking delegation of Phnom Penh capital led by Khuong Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh.

At the reception,  both sides exchanged directions to boost the friendship and cooperation relations in development of urban projects between Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh. 

On behalf of the city leaders, chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong expressed his pleasure at the blossomed multifaceted relations between the two countries' localities which actively contributed into developing good comprehensive, solidarity and friendship relations between the nations’ people.  

The city authorities will create favorable conditions to cooperate and support the partner in the fields of urban, urban waste collection and treatment…, added Mr. Phong.

Additionally, the city will continue cooperating with Phnom Penh in the fields of education and training, health, trade promotion and investment attraction.
