The Department of Transport said on May 4 that after the authorities gave the green light to the piloted sightseeing tour around the city for holiday-makers, Kingtour Company will carry out the piloted in three years.
The tours are designed around central districts such as 1, 3 and 5, taking tourists to famous historical attractions of the city.
Trams will pick visitors at Sofitel Plaza Hotel at 17 Le Duan Street in District 1, New World hotel at 76 Le Lai Street in District 1, Sheraton Hotel at 88 Dong Khoi Street in District1, Victory Hotel at 14 Vo Van Tan Street in District 3, and Ocean Palace Hotel at 2 Le Duan in District 1.
The trams will run from 8 PM to 4 PM and from 7Pm to 11 Pm everyday.
