HCMC rearranges traffic to build flyover in TSN Airport area

The HCMC Department of Transport had started traffic reorganization in streets leading to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for construction of a flyover to reduce traffic jam in the area from February 8 to March 8, said deputy director of the department Tran Quang Lam yesterday.

Parts of the streets’ pavements will be barricaded to remove technical infrastructures, trees and lightning system and build the flyover.

Vehicles are permitted to travel in these areas but they should reduce speed and follow traffic signs as well as instructions by traffic police, according to the department.
