The People’s Committee in Ho Chi Minh City has submitted the Ministry of Planning and Investment three key infrastructure projects seeking for its approval to implement the projects under Public Private Partnership (PPP) form.

The three projects include the construction of rainwater collection and wastewater treatment systems in the western valley of the city and the basin of Tan Hoa-Lo Gom Canal, and a second tramway route.

They are three important projects for the city’s infrastructure development.

If being approved, HCMC will publicly invite both domestic and foreign tenders to attract foreign investment in this field.

Submitting the projects to the ministry is considered as a new and feasible way to partly meet capital demand for the city’s technical infrastructure development.
