HCMC sets up more preschools in Industrial Zones

Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan sent a document urging the city’s Department of Education and Training and local people committees to build more preschools in industrial parks and export processing zones.

Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan sent a document urging the city’s Department of Education and Training and local people committees to build more preschools in industrial parks and export processing zones.
 
As per the document, the leader of the city People’s Committee ordered districts’ chairpersons to strictly implement policies on social contribution in education, involve  individuals and enterprises in education to meet demand of workers in industrial parks and export processing zones.
 
Management boards of these parks and zones should allocate land area for building preschools, The city leader said.
 
District leaders must attract investment from organizations, individuals and enterprises in building preschools in industrial and export processing zones. Additionally, local governments build preschools for rent with suitable prices to encourage people to invest in education sector.
 
Directors of districts’ departments of education and training should check and provide consultation of implementing policies on social contribution to education as well as facilitating formality to help enterprises, organizations and individuals to build schools to meet the demand of staffs and workers in industrial parks.
