HCMC shrouded in thick fog

Ho Chi Minh City was shrouded in a thick blanket of fog lasting until 7AM on September 19.

A dense fog lay over the city outskirts and suburban districts, according to residents. Motorbike drivers in Cong Hoa Street in district Tan Binh had to turn on lights to reflect the foggy street. The thick fog obscured the sight so it has badly influenced some early flights.

City residents called to the weather station to seek for some health information; they decided to wear face masks to protect their health.
