HCMC speeds up construction of Thu Thiem urban area’s smart complex

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong highlighted the company’s development plan of a smart complex at functional area 2a in Thu Thiem new urban area, district 2.

As planned, HCMC will apply information technology in management to serve residents’ lives in accordance with a smart eco urban area, turning Thu Thiem urban area into a multifunctional finance-trade-service and residential center.
For his part, CEO of Lotte Asset Development Lee Kwang Young said that the company will make all effort to turn the smart complex into a new icon in HCMC and Asian region. The construction of the project is expected to be kicked off on September 2.
The smart complex will be built over 7.45 hectares at a total capital of VND2 trillion (US$88 million). Lotte Asset Development, a member of the Lotte Group from the Republic of Korea is selected as the investor of the project.
