HCMC spends over $1 billion on infrastructure per year

HCMC spends VND 23,740 billion (US $1.1 billion) on traffic per year, according to the HCMC Finance and Investment State-Owned Company (HFIC).

This is a huge detriment on state budget, said Director of HFIC Diep Dung. He believes the government and private sector need to cooperate on solving the issues of cost.

A training course for implementing cooperation between agencies will take place March 31 to April 3, with participation of representatives from local investment funds and related agencies.
