The bridge named Thu Thiem 4 will connect Thu Thiem new urban area in district 2 with district 7 in the south of the city.
The 2,160 meter bridge will have six lanes and two branches N1 and N2 approaching Huynh Tan Phat and Nguyen Van Linh streets in district 7.
The project is expected to contribute in reducing traffic pressure for roads from Binh Thanh and Thu Duc to districts 7, Binh Chanh and Nha Be; link up Thu Thiem New urban area with downtown area, district 4 and 7, boosting the development of Thu Thiem new urban area and other urban areas in the southern part of the city.
