HCMC to have three more hospitals

The Prime Minister has just signaled to build three further large hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City which will be funded by the SME development fund.

The three projects are in a five large hospital investment package in the city, aiming to reduce the overload in hospitals in the southern economic hub. 

The Government agreed to advance nearly VND30 billion (US$1, 410 million) to the city for the first stage of the three projects.

The three projects include the Children Hospital, the Tumor Hospital and the Trauma and Orthopedics -Army 175 Hospital.
