According to the proposal made in a document which the committee has recently sent to the Government Office, the process should take place within six months.
Land use in Tan Son Nhat Airport has drawn much attention and controversial opinions from residents, agencies and organizations in the city and the country.
Therefore , the city People’s Committee finds it necessary to hire prestigious, qualified and experienced foreign consultants to estimate the efficiency of land use for aviation transparently and objectively.
Foreign consultants will also conduct surveys and adjust Tan Son Nhat Airport plan to improve the airport’s capacity, suit transport development speed and the plan of building Long Thanh International Airport.
