HCMC Youth Union supports 1000 gifts for students, workers to return home on Tet holidays

HCMC Youth Union in collaboration with P&G Company yesterday launched a charity program to support finance for disadvantaged students, workers to welcome Lunar New Year at their hometowns.


The program is also a part of activities to mark the fifth Congress of Vietnam Youth Association in Ho Chi Minh City in the term of 2015- 2020.

The organizers will hand over 1,000 gifts with total cost of VND 300 million for students, workers and volunteers, who have studied and worked in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Hanoi. In addition, the organizers will also support buses for carrying students and workers back to their hometowns in southern provinces to spend Lunar New Year with their families.

The event will last until February 1.
