High tide might cause flooding in HCMC’s lowlands

Tidal level is quickly surging in Saigon and Hau rivers which might cause flooding in low lying areas in HCMC and other provinces in the Mekong Delta in the next couple of days, warned the Central Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center.

The southern region will be rainy in the morning. Rain will abate at noon and in the afternoon with interrupted sunshine.
Meantime, eastern winds will continue rendering medium to heavy rain in northern and north central regions from October 6-10.
On October 6, central provinces from Hue city to Phan Thiet city and the Central Highlands will be sunny with temperatures swinging from 29-33 degrees Celsius.
