Huge haul of smuggled cosmetics uncovered in Binh Chanh District

Market Management officials in Binh Chanh District on June 26 informed they had uncovered a huge consignment of beauty products that had no certification of origin.

The officials found a warehouse belonging to a person named Tran Manh Huy with more than 600 containers of various cosmetic products on 64 Street No.18 in Binh Hung Commune in Binh Chanh District.

The owner was unable to produce any certificate of origin or receipt, but admitted to purchasing the products from various sources. The officials seized 100,000 products including perfumes, creams and make-up products with Korean and Chinese language scripts on the packs.
