The Indonesian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City September 13 announced it will function as normal after a fire in the day before.
The press release was issued by the Consulate General that firefighters in Ho Chi Minh City had been quick to put out the large fire at the Consulate General. Accordingly, no injuries were reported in the incident.
The blaze began at 9:00 pm at the consulate, which is located at 18 Phung Khac Khoan Street, Da Kao Ward, in District 1.
According to police’s investigation, the cause of the fire may be blamed on a short circuit.
Soon after Informed by the consulate, firefighters and police in Districts 1 and 3 were rushing to the scene to extinguish the fire and maintain order and security in the area.
Police blocked traffic on the street to give the firemen more space, and they also assisted locals in leaving the area for safety reasons.
After two hours of work intensively, firefighters had put out the blaze.
