Kids with incurable diseases offered Mid-autumn's gifts

In the Children Hospital No.1 and 2 in Ho Chi Minh City, 150 kids suffering incurable and life-threatening diseases coming from low-income families yesterday were participated in a Mid-Autumn Festival held by Khan Quang Do newspaper.

During the event, kids joined to make sand pictures, paint statues, lanterns and enjoy dragon dance, circus and talk with singers and actors at their same ages in amusing performance.

Especially, children were given free meals and presents. Each gift costs VND500,000 (US$22) and cash of VND300,000 (US$13)

This is the eleventh time such event has been held for kids with incurable and life-threatening diseases by the newspaper aiming to encourage them to overcome pain and illness.
