The 22nd conference of the Law Association for Asia and the Pacific (LAWASIA) will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from November 9-12.
Themed “Competition and cooperation in the region,” the conference will offer lawyers the chance to share experiences and boost cooperative relations among regional countries and territories.
The conference is expected to attract more than 300 domestic and foreign lawyers who will present and discuss a range of issues such as environmental and labor laws, law education and legal assistance, the role of lawyers’ associations in the development of the bar, legal matters in the fields of energy, protection of personal information, intellectual property, immigration, and franchising.
Established in 1966, LAWASIA brings together lawyers, jurists, lawyers’ associations and organizations. It currently has more than 1,500 members from 50 Asian and Pacific countries and territories.
