The Nham Thin Year Flower Festival in Ho Chi Minh City will come to an end this evening ( Jan 28), having attracted 600,000 visitors from HCMC, neighboring provinces as well as foreign countries during the last seven days of Tet Lunar New Year.

The Flower Festival this year, which was acknowledged as more beautiful and impressive than other years, displayed bamboo sculptured twin dragons, the one pillar pagoda and the Nha Rong wharf, according to the organizing board of the HCMC Lunar New Year Festival.
The Festival which lasted 11 days was open to public for 14 hours a day, with peak rush time being the 2nd day of Tet Lunar New Year with 90,000 visitors.
Nearly 400 prizes were awarded to artists who made the unique sculptures of trees and flowers.
The flower festival along Truong Dinh Street and Tao Dan Park also attracted a number of visitors who enjoyed special cultural and musical performances during the past several days.
