One hundred Vietnamese enterprises invest in Singapore

Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City’s Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan met with Deputy Prime Minister cum Coordinating Minister for National Security of Singapore Mr Teo Chee Hean yesterday afternoon.

At the meeting, the city Party chief appreciated the trade and investment relationship of Singapore in Vietnam.

Currently, Singapore is the third largest investor into Vietnam and the biggest investor in Ho Chi Minh City. 

Until now, Ho Chi Minh City has attracted 1,000 projects with total registered capital of US$ 10.5 billion. 

The Singaporean leader expressed his pleasure at the strategical partnership development between the two nations within a framework of Association of Southeast Asian Nations and multilateral organizations including Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).

Besides, Mr Teo Chee Hean evaluated investment of 100 Vietnamese enterprises into Singapore, especially in many start-up projects.
