Pasteur Street to be Repaired

Some vehicles will be prohibited from using Pasteur Street from April 5 to May 2 due to repairs scheduled to take place on the street’s drainage system, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Traffic and Public Works announced on Tuesday.

While buses and two-wheeled vehicles will be allowed access to the route, cars are to be banned unless they are owned by local residents or organizations.

Even then, they will only be permitted to use the road under the guidance of a traffic warden during off-peak hours.

Police are warning drivers to slow down when traveling near the construction site.
