To mark Dang Thuy Tram Policlinic’s second anniversary, a group of 50 doctors on Wednesday treated 1,000 poor patients in Ho Chi Minh City for free.

The doctors, from Medical School University, Cho Ray and Thong Nhat hospitals (under Ho Chi Minh City Youth Physician Association), provided free examinations and medicine in Phu My suburban district and Binh Dinh province. The drugs and services were worth more than VND100 million.
Ho Chi Minh City Youth Physician Association coordinated with Tuoi Tre Newspaper and An Giang Plant Protection Joint-Stock Company to provide thousands more free examination and medicines in Vietnam’s central provinces of Quang Ngai and Quang Nam provinces.
The team of doctors will examine and provide medicine to 6,000 poor patients in the central region at a cost of VND700 million.
Dang Thuy Tram Policlinic was set up in Duc Pho suburban district in Quang Ngai province where war heroine Dang Thuy Tram fought, treated wounded soldiers and gave her life for her motherland.
