Truck ban continues in street to city's airport

The ban on truck traffic will be continued in Truong Son street from 6a.m.-10p.m. everyday to reduce traffic jam in Tan Son Nhat International Airport, announced the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport yesterday.

Authorized agencies will consider permitting some trucks serving cargo transport at the airport to travel in the route.

They will also study a similar ban in Hong Ha street and branches of Tan Son Nhat-Binh Loi outer belt road to ease the congestion and still do not much affect cargo transport at the airport.

In addition, one way traffic will be organized for automobiles in the direction of Hoang Van Thu-Pham Van Hai-Nguyen Trong Tuyen street and Hau Giang-Thang Long-Cong Hoa street.
