Using smart phones to search information in museum is one of the applications of an “interactive” project presented in a meeting on January 4 presided by Deputy Chairman of People’s Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen.

Introducing the project at the meeting, Dr. Tran Minh Triet, Deputy Head of the Software Technology Subject in the University of Nature’s Information Faculty said that with a smart phone, visitors can see three-dimensional photos, video and search information in English, French and Vietnamese or search ways to the museums fastest.

Additionally, visitors can buy ticket and souvenir gifts through the new system. Also the system will introduce examples of clips, photos or detailed guidelines to help visitors who want to take photos  outside the museums or items.

Deputy Chairman Tran Vinh Tuyen said that the project will first be piloted at the Southern Woman Museum and the historic Cu Chi Tunnels after valuing the project’s effectiveness and then implement the project in other museums in the city.
