Chairman of the committee Tran Thi Hong Nguyet said that the service had provided 12 birth certificates at home so far.
"The program also renews identity cards and hands them over to social welfare beneficiaries and the elderly in the ward", added Nguyet.
Specifically, local police work with cultural and social officials to review and list people under the above group and assist them to register the service.
The ward will arrange staff and vehicles to pick them up from their houses to the ward to do procedures. Civil status judicial officials will receive the cards after they are renewed at the Police Department in District 2 and deliver to their houses free of charge.
