Young Businesspeople Meet in Congress

The sixth congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Businesspeople Association begins today with the introduction of the new executive board, handing out commendations, and presenting awards to the nine most outstanding members of 2006.

Also on the agenda is the formal adoption of the name “Ho Chi Minh City Young Businesspeople Association” to replace “Ho Chi Minh City Young Enterprises Association”, and a meeting with Education and Training Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan.
 
In preparation for the congress, a meeting was held yesterday to approve changes to the association’s charter, finalize action plans and elect a new executive board.
 
The congress venue is the HCMC Meeting Hall on Ba Huyen Thanh Quan Street in District 3. Some 470 members have booked to be there.
