3.4-magnitude quake detected in N. Korea: report

A 3.4 magnitude earthquake was detected in North Korea on Saturday, Japan's Kyodo News reported, citing China's quake agency.

The tremor occurred at 4:29 p.m. and the depth of its epicenter was zero kilometers, the report said.

South Korea's weather agency said that a 3 magnitude tremor was detected in the Kilju area in North Hamgyeong Province. It said that it is presumed to be a natural quake, source by Yonhap.
