The Vietnam Lawyers’ Commercial Arbitration Center (VLCAC), a non-profit NGO formed by the Vietnam Lawyers Association, has been launched at No. 163/18, Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street in Ho Chi Minh City’s Binh Thanh District.
The center consists of 31 arbitrators who are lawyers, economical experts, professors and doctors with professional qualifications and experience in handling disputes.
The establishment of the VLCAC aims to provide effectively methods of dispute resolution based upon freedom of arrangement of each side in a dispute. All disputes will be resolved fairly and faithfully.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice, Le Thi Binh Minh asked the VLCAC to organize training programs providing knowledge and skills related to dispute resolution for arbitrators, and offer policies to attract excellent lawyers and experts, as well as studying law in various countries.
