Vietnamese Women Sold into Sex Slavery in Malaysia Return Home

At 4:00 p.m. yesterday, six Vietnamese women sold into sex slavery in Malaysia returned to Viet Nam.

Representatives of Afesip in Viet Nam together with police and the victims’ families went to Tan Son Nhat airport to personally receive six Vietnamese women from Tay Ninh and An Giang provinces who were rescued from sex slavery in Malaysia.

The Investigative Police Bureau against Criminals of Social Order of Tay Ninh Province (PC14) said they will work with the five victims born in Tay Ninh to obtain their statements related to the trafficking ring.

Tay Ninh Police are saying they have located a number of local suspects involved in the ring and, after obtaining sufficient evidence, they will bring charges against them.
