Vietnamese man spends VND15 million on Valentine gift

A Vietnamese man is reported to have spent VND15 million (US$720) to buy a flower basket filled with 750 roses to present to his girlfriend yesterday, on Valentine’s Day.

The floral basket transported in a sedan car to Nhon Trach District

The man is a resident of Ho Chi Minh City, and on Valentine’s Day he   ordered a flower basket with 750 roses to present to his girlfriend in Nhon Trach District in the southern province of Dong Nai.

In addition to roses, the flower basket also contained 2 glass cups filled with bars of chocolates and other delicacies. The entire floral arrangement cost VND15 million.

The order was placed at the Gioi HoaTuoi Company, wholesale suppliers of flowers and gifts.

The floral arrangement had to be transported in a seven seater sedan car to Nhon Trach District to deliver to the happy girl on February 14.

Nguyen Thi Thuy Vu, CEO of the Gioi Hoa Tuoi Company, said the floral basket has made by three artisans who worked non-stop for seven hours.
