Hanoi-based UN office gets top green buildings award

The Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC) on May 22 awarded the Green One United Nations House (GOUNH) in Hanoi a Platinum Lotus certification, the highest level in the market-based green building rating system.

PM requires inspection over fishing boat building under Decree 67

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to inspect and clarify problems, published on media news, about building and upgrading fishing boats under the Government’s Decree 67.

Japan helps VN in anti- piracy training

The Japan Coast Guard (JCG) yesterday launched a traveling plan for 40 meters- patrol vessel Echigo to Vietnam and the Philippines to participate in anti-piracy training program.
