1,000 Houses Donated to Poor Ethnic Minority People

On the occasion of a congress of all minority groups in the Central Highlands expected on March 28, 29 President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Pham The Duyet visited and granted three houses to Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong in Hoa Hiep village, Nhon Hoa commune; to Mr. Ksor-Pol in Plei Dung, Ea Ru commune and Mr. Klak Blo in Plei Ser village, Chu Se district.

The houses each worth VND10 -12 million were built from the fund for the poor of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee and the contributions of residents around the country. On this occasion VFF also gave each household VND300, 000 to celebrate their traditional housewarming.
 
After the campaign to build new houses for ethnic minorities was launched for three months, there have been 1,000 charity houses worth over VND8 billion granted to needy ethnic minority people, of which the fund for the poor of the VFF contributed over VND3 billion.
