There will be 3,000 Vietnamese young delegates together with 7,000 Chinese young will take part in a Vietnam-China youth festival, announced The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on August 16.
The festival named “Vietnamese and Chinese youths join hands to foster friendship” will be held in China’s Guangxi Province from August 25-29.
The Vietnamese delegations will visit relics that are associated with Vietnam’s revolutionary history, meet with local peers and take part in activities to protect the environment.
They will also take part in main activities in seven cities including Liuzhou, Guilin, Beihai, Quizhou, Fangchenggang, Baise and Chongzuo before joining Chinese delegates in major activities in Nanning.
The activities will include an opening ceremony of the festival at the Huu Nghi (Friendship) Border Gate, activities to follow Uncle Ho’s steps, and a seminar on young people’s business start-up and strengthening cooperation between the two countries’ youths.
The Vietnam-China Youth Festival is a practical activity aimed at fostering the friendship, mutual understanding and trust between the two countries’ young generations and peoples, helping strengthen the comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership between Vietnam and China.
