5,200 Free Hearing Aids to Poor Patients

The charity foundation AHAC (Americans Helping Asian Children) and Starkey, a top US hearing instrument firm, yesterday donated 5,200 hearing aids worth more than US$88,000 to the Ho Chi Minh City Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients.

This comes after nine previous years of donation from AHAC and Starkey, who have now donated a total of 10,000 hearing aids and many other pieces of medical equipment over the past nine years, the accumulative value of their donation now reaching more than US$400,000.
