Around 2,100 international and domestic delegates from 21 member economies, representatives of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), the APEC observer organizations, international and regional organizations, global enterprises and scholars will participate in the event.

On this occassion United States Secretary of Health and Human Services Tom Price will visit Vietnam and sign memorandum of understanding on communicable disease control, elderly healthcare programs and sustainable healthcare finance during the current global transitional economic period.
