The Mekong delta province of Ben Tre Party Committee Secretary Vo Thanh Hao said the province has just approved many key projects at its meeting.
Of these, the project to build and complete value chains for agricultural products in the period of 2016-2020 and towards 2025 will be implemented soon.
It targets to enhance the quality of sustainable value chains to key seven products including coconut, grape fruit, bonsai, pork, rambutan, beef and seafood.
Ben Tre has many sources with high potential of developing agricultural sector. Currently, the sector's VAT accounts for 44.3 percent over total provincial product value.
