BIDV provides VND 23 bln for affected locals by natural disaster

The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has decided to support VND 23 billion for 16 provinces in the central highlands, south central and Mekong Delta which have been affected seriously by drought and saltwater influx.

The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has decided to support VND 23 billion for 16 provinces in the central highlands, south central and Mekong Delta which have been affected seriously by drought and saltwater influx.

Accordingly, BIDV will support VND 14 billion for the provinces of Kontum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan; and VND nine billion for Long An, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau, Kien Giang and Vinh Long.

It is aimed to join hand with local authorities to help people and farmers overcome difficulties in their life and production.
