Binh Duong Province allocates VND1.3 trillion for housing development

Binh Duong will allocate around VND1.3 trillion for housing development with the vision to 2030 and the amount will be used for building social houses and shelters for workers from far provinces to settle down in the province, said Chairman of province People’s Committee Le Thanh Cung yesterday.

In the period 2016-2020, the south east province will plan to increase the average area of a house to 30 meter square per person. The rate of firm houses will be double and raise the proportion of rented houses from 5 percent in 2015 to 7 percent in the period 2016-2020 and 10 percent in 2030.

The province will also build more houses for families in serving the cause of the nation’s revolution, for low-income earners and resettlement houses.

The housing development program plays an important role for the province’s socioeconomic procedures. Accordingly the province will create favorite conditions for investors and encourage the involvement of all economic sectors.
