Binh Duong Province invests nearly VND1 tril for hi-tech agriculture

Bui Quang Chanh, representative of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in the southern province of Binh Duong yesterday said that the province invested nearly VND1 trillion (US$ 44,318,382) to set up five hi-tech agricultural parks.

The province also has used 979 hectare including 103 hectare to produce as per modern agriculture model. Lands for growing cashew which was ineffective will be replaced to grow more economically effective plants and breed animals with the use of hi-technology.

In these lands, people will grow vegetables, mushroom, orchard, flower, ornamental flower, livestock and oxen.

The province will cooperate with HCMC to set up a supply chain about fresh, safe vegetables and meat. Moreover, many agricultural produces like bananas or eggs will be exported to the markets of South Korea and Malaysia.
