Binh Duong province plans to become smart city

The southern province of Binh Duong held a press brief on its plan to build Binh Duong to be a smart city, Mai Hung Dung, Deputy Chairman of the province’s People’s Committee, said at a press conference on November 23.
 
Mr. Hung said the plan is in line with the province’s socioeconomic strategic program with the vision to 2030 towards the economy with high value and smart urban planning to pave the way for intellectual growth.
Binh Duong would focus on applications of advanced technologies in terms of electronic government and traffic; make a comprehensive renovation with the concentration on human resource.
At first, Binh Duong province will finish criteria to become a member of Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) as well as win the prize to fall into the Smart21-smart areas of the year.
