Calligraphy festival to raise charity fund opens in District 5

The 2016 calligraphy writing festival themed “Giving words in calligraphy on Spring day” from Vietnamese Chinese residents who lived in District 5’s China town in the 1940s will be taken place on the moring of February 1 at Nghia An center, located at 676-678 Nguyen Trai Street, District 5, HCMC.

It is annual program, aiming to raise charity fund to help poor people enjoy a happy Tet, organized jointly by the calligraphy association, Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper’s Chinese edition and Nghia An center.
Calligraphers & Chinese painters of Nom calligraphy and Vietnamese romanized language script joined this program.
